Middle Point Story #008 Planet Cafe

2045年のシンギュラリティ以降、地球上の人類は巨大なAIシステムに管理されていた。地球はおとなしく従順な人間のみが存在する世界へと変貌してしまっていた。
2061年、木星で古代の「Interspecies」のvinylを発見した若き3人：古代音楽探検家：RHODES-073(Ryota)、時空科学者：PROPHET-006（Shigeo）、古代技術者ROLAND-303（Kashi）は、「Paraiso」という街で、タイムマシンを組み立てていた。
ある日、ROLAND-303（Kashi）が、ゴミ捨て場から古いカートリッジを拾ってきた。それは古い型のAI頭脳のようであった。Buchla博士の残した「Easel」コンピュータにそのカートリッジにつないでみると、「Easel」のシステムオシレーター（System Oscilator）が、カートリッジを変調（Modulation）し、暗号が解読（Decode）されて、「Planet Cafe」というバーチャルな空間にアクセスすることができた。
そこには、過去の人類の残した技術や音楽がアーカイブされていた。その空間には、「EVE」と呼ばれるAIがいた。彼女は、「ようこそ、人類の創造の歴史の図書館へ。私はあなた達がここに来ることを待っていた。」と彼らに話しかけた。

After the Singularity of 2045, the human race on Earth was being controlled by a huge AI system. Earth had been transformed into a world where only docile and obedient humans existed.
In 2061, three young men who discovered an ancient "Interspecies" vinyl on Jupiter: RHODES-073 (Ryota), an ancient music explorer, PROPHET-006 (Shigeo), a space-time scientist, and ROLAND-303 (Kashi), an ancient engineer, were assembling a time machine in the city of “Paraiso”.
One day, ROLAND-303 (Kashi) picked up an old cartridge from the garbage dump. It was like an old-fashioned AI brain. When the cartridge was connected to the "Easel" computer left by Dr. Buchla, the “Easel”'s System Oscillator modulated the cartridge, decoded the code, and sent it back to the "Easel" computer, allowing them to access a virtual space called the “Planet Café”.
There, the technology and music left behind by past humans were archived. In that space, there was an AI called "EVE". She said to them, "Welcome to the library of the history of human creation. I have been waiting for you to come here”.
