Middle Point 006 “Source of Uncertainty” Story

2045年のシンギュラリティ以降、地球上の人類は巨大なAIシステムに管理されていた。地球はおとなしく従順な人間のみが存在する世界へと変貌してしまっていた。
2061年、木星で古代の「Interspecies」のvinylを発見した若き3人：古代音楽探検家：RHODES-073(Ryota)、時空科学者：PROPHET-006（Shigeo）、古代技術者ROLAND-303（Kashi）は、時空科学者の権威であるBuchla博士の研究室があるIndustriaに到着した。
Buchla博士の弟子であるPROPHET-006（Shigeo）を記憶を頼りに、研究室にたどり着くが、そこはすでに廃墟と化していた。研究室に残されていた書類から、Buchla博士は数年前に亡くなっていたことがわかった。3人は荒廃した研究室の中で、タイムマシンに関する資料を探した。そして１台の小型コンピュータ「Easel」を発見する。PROPHET-006（Shigeo）が、コンピュータのパスワード「Source of Uncertainty」を入力すると、Easelは不思議な音を鳴らしながら動き出した。そのコンピュータの中に、タイムマシンのエンジン=Synthesizerの設計図が残っていた。これでタイムマシンを作れると3人は喜ぶが、回路の一部に古いレア部品「Vactrol」が使われていることがわかった。3人はその部品を探すために、地球の古い部品街へ向かうことにした。


After the Singularity of 2045, humanity on Earth was being controlled by a massive AI system. Earth had been transformed into a world where only meek and obedient humans existed.

In 2061, three young people who discovered the ancient "Interspecies" vinyl on Jupiter: Ancient music explorer: RHODES-073 (Ryota), Space-time scientist: PROPHET-006 (Shigeo), and Ancient engineer ROLAND-303 (Kashi), arrived in Industria, where the laboratory of Dr. Buchla, an authority on space-time scientists, is located.
Relying on the memory of Dr. Buchla's apprentice PROPHET-006 (Shigeo) they arrived at the laboratory, but it was already abandoned. From the documents left in the lab they found out that Dr. Buchla had died a few years ago. Three of them searched for documents about the time machine in the devastated laboratory. Then they discovered one small computer "Easel". When PROPHET-006 (Shigeo) entered the password "Source of Uncertainty", Easel started with a mysterious sound. In that computer, there was a blueprint for the Time Machine engine = Synthesizer. The three of them were happy to assemble a time machine, but it turned out that part of the circuitry used an old rare component called "Vactrol". They decided to head to the old parts town of the earth to find it.
