Middle Point 003 “Red Wind" Story
2045年のシンギュラリティ以降、地球上の人類は巨大なAIシステムに管理されつつあった。人々はスマートでストレスの無いシステムの中で平和に暮らす一方、AIシステムは、怒りや反抗心を助長し、集団で踊るような過去の音楽や文化を危険であるとみなし排除していった。いつのまにか人々はAIが自動生成する音楽や芸術に満足してしまい、彼ら自身の芸術的な創造性が失われていることに疑問さえも抱かなくなっていた。
そして、わずか数年の後、地球はおとなしく従順な人間のみが存在する世界へと変貌してしまっていた。

2061年、木星で古代の「Interspecies」のvinylを発見した若き3人：古代音楽探検家：RHODES-073(Ryota)、時空科学者：PROPHET-006（Shigeo）、古代技術者ROLAND-303（Kashi）は、地球に向かう途中、RHODES-073(Ryota)の故郷、火星に降り立っていた。

火星は、以前は人類の宇宙進出のフロンティアとして探検者達で賑わっていたが、今では住む人間のいない荒廃した星になっていた。宇宙フロンティア時代、探検者達は、地球のAIシステムから供給される安定と幸福を拒み、火星に刺激と自由を求めた。しかし、彼らは火星の過酷な自然環境に適応できず、そのほとんどは命を落とし、生き残った人々も次第に火星から去っていった。地球の人々は、火星に移り住んだ人々を失敗者として笑った。

若き3人は、火星の偉大な探検者達の墓の前で、これからの冒険への決意を新たにし、火星の”赤い風"に別れを告げた。

Middle Point 003 “Red Wind" Story

After the Singularity of 2045, human race on Earth was being controlled by a massive AI system. People were living peacefully in a smart, stress-free system; the AI system deemed the music and culture of the past, which encouraged anger, rebellion and dance in groups, to be dangerous and eliminated. People were satisfied with the music and art that were automatically generated by the AI system. They never questioned the fact that they had lost their artistic creativity at some point in time. It had become a world where only meek and obedient people could live.
In the year 2061, three young men who discovered the ancient "Interspecies" vinyl on Jupiter: ancient music explorer: RHODES-073 (Ryota), space-time scientist: PROPHET-006 (Shigeo) and ancient engineer ROLAND-303 (Kashi), en route to Earth, landed on Mars, the home planet of RHODES-073.
Mars used to be a frontier for humanity's expansion into space, crowded with explorers, but it is now a devastated planet with no human inhabitants. During the space frontier era, the explorers rejected the stability and happiness supplied by Earth's AI systems and sought stimulation and freedom on Mars. However, they were unable to adapt to the harsh natural environment of Mars and most of them died, and those who survived gradually left the planet. People on Earth laughed at those who moved to Mars as losers.
In front of the graves of the great Martian explorers, the three young men said goodbye to the "red winds" of Mars, renewing their commitment to their upcoming adventures.
